Writer's Circus: write every day!
“A well-composed book is a magic carpet on which we are wafted to a world that we cannot enter in any other way.”
There are all kinds of writing: factual, fictitious, and anywhere in the middle.
People write for all kinds of reasons: to save their souls, to cry out in the night, or to explain a chemistry equation.
But all writing is meant to communicate. Little squidges on paper, pixels on a computer screen, slashes made on clay with a stick--all are attempts to convey an idea from one human brain to another.
Starting today, Writer's Circus will post a daily writing prompt on this blog. We hope you'll enjoy challenging yourself to write every day. Try to find a partner, someone to read your work and give you feedback.
Why not write? Have fun and become a better, more competent writer as you find ways to clearly communicate your thoughts and feelings.
